The 3 Winners of my 400+ Followers Contest

Hi everyone :) It's time for me to announce the 3 winners of my 400+ Followers Giveaway Contest. It ended yesterday and in the last 24 hours I have reviewed all of the entries and picked 3 people who I believe deserve to be the winners.

Thanks to those who took part in this giveaway! I really appreciate the support that I receive from you guys and because of you, this giveaway contest for me was worthwhile ^.^

I had a total of 38 entries and I'm glad that I didn't receive too many because it would have been harder for me to choose the winner! Even with 38 entries, it was still hard for me to choose =[ By using a process of elimination, I was able to narrow down the entries further. I was tough with this process but it had to be done *feels guilty*.

There were no right or wrong answers or any automatic disqualifications so I'm pleased with the entries as no unfair entries were made. I did however immediately eliminated people who had answers longer than 25 words. In the entry form, I stated '25 words or less', so no more than 25 was acceptable. These people had great answers but I had to be fair for the others who had answers within the 25-word limit.

So, here's what I was looking for in the answers. I made this list prior to opening my giveaway so there's no biasness.

- Someone who has done a product review before (preferably)

- Someone who has reviewed lenses before (preferably)

- Someone willing to review all 4 of the items provided

* Someone who would review all of the items in one blog post - i.e. with the circle lenses, have the lenses on as well as the false eyelashes, eyeliner and mascara... do one big review

- Someone who mentioned words such as 'honest', 'opinions', 'thoughts', (no) 'bias'

The (*) means that no entries included this.

I really enjoyed reading about people's way of doing a product review and I noticed that they were all very versatile and unique. Also the answer for why they deserve to be a winner was pretty interesting to read as some mentioned their loyalty as a blog reader/follower, a few mentioned that they've never won a giveaway before and others discussed their personality traits for being a winner. Again, there were no right or wrong answers, which made it even harder for me to choose the winners!

But in the end, it all came down to the answers that stood out to me the most in comparison to the others. Here are the answers to the three winners and my reasons for choosing them:

Q1. In 25 words or less, what would you include in a circle lens review?

A. Details/link of where I got them from. Design, comfortability and enlargement if any. Pictures from different angles. My personal thoughts & opinions on them.

Q2. In 25 words or less, what would you include in a product review?

A. What the product claims & if I achieve the results the product claims & to what extent. Also the pros & cons of the product.

A. comparison for each of the product wif other brands, to allow readers the verdict of their own, i believe in freedom of choice.

Q3. In 25 words or less, what makes you deserve to be a winner?

A. I live in the same state, sending the package would be cheap, if not free! Jokes aside, I'm serious in reviews as I'm very opinionated.

A. Honestly I write very precise reviews detailing even every minute aspect of any product without any biased opinions towards any brand. I deserve to win.

A. im honest to the bone but never rude, im very creative, i dont belief there is ugliness nor laziness, we all just need motivation

What I appreciated about these answers was that they extended it to 25 words and have truly convinced me that they deserve to be winners. I can tell that these entrants have put effort into their answers without being too wordy. Each of the answers have a great impact on me and in so few words, their explanations are simple yet straight to the point. That was exactly what I was looking for!

Do you think they deserve to be the winners? I surely hope that I have made the right choices :D

This contest giveaway went well in my opinion and I honestly believe that this was a fair way of selecting the winners. I don't know if I will do something like this again (since you all now know what I'd be expecting in the answers lol) but for sure I will have more giveaways in the future when I reach another follower milestone ;)
